Chromatic Eliena's Butterfly
This chromatic illustration is named for my granddaughter Eliena and based on the Blue Morpho butterfly. It took me five weeks and six versions to get it to print just right. The design uses the same fine line techniques I learned while cutting Hamilton-style manicules. The butterflies are tilted left and right like they’re floating in the air.
